The information on the Online Resources for UNESCO World Heritage in Uzbekistan aims to help the users understand World Heritage and inform about its legal procedures. The resources available, together with the obligations of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a signatory State Party of the World Heritage Convention, support the management and protection of cultural and natural World Heritage in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The online resources are open to the community, building owners, national agencies, stakeholders, professionals heritage community, developers, and anyone interested in the outstanding heritage of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
The Online Resources was made possible through the partnership of the UNESCO Office in Tashkent, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Committee for Ecology and Environment Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
